Overview

In this role you will lead Via’s commercial strategy for the UK & Nordics, owning end-to-end sales and partnership development with authorities, transport operators, and public/private stakeholders. You will shape business cases using data and platform capabilities (Citymapper, Remix) to unlock funding and turn mobility plans into deliverable systems. You will act as a strategic partner to councils and regions, driving sustainable, equitable urban mobility while representing Via in the market. This is a high-visibility role that combines leadership, deal making, and external thought leadership to advance Via’s mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full-cycle commercial strategy for the UK & Nordics, from prospecting to structuring and closing complex deals
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with decision-makers across government and transport operators
  • Develop evidence-based business cases using Via’s platform (Citymapper, Remix) to demonstrate value and unlock funding
  • Advise councils and regions on network design, funding mechanisms, and implementation strategies
  • Represent Via externally through marketing, conferences, and thought leadership to promote mobility innovation

Key requirements

  • 10+ years closing complex, consultative deals in sales, BD, or strategy (enterprise, government, infrastructure, or tech-enabled services)
  • Proven track record winning multi-stakeholder deals driven by trust and influence
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills to translate data, policy, and customer needs into a compelling commercial narrative
  • Curious, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Natural leadership with sound judgment and high ownership
  • Experience in transportation, mobility, or public-sector sales is a plus
