Overview
In this role you will support a high-profile banking & finance practice, acting for lenders and borrowers across lending transactions from a top-tier national team. You will handle a broad range of financing matters for banks, insurers and debt funds, with opportunities to work with large Scottish corporates. The position offers hybrid working in Edinburgh or Glasgow and a clear path to develop expertise in corporate banking. You will contribute to delivering market-leading financing solutions and trends analysis within a collaborative, innovative firm.

Responsibilities
- Advise on all aspects of lending transactions for lenders and borrowers
- Manage the full lifecycle of financing deals, from structuring to execution
- Liaise with funders including banks, insurers and debt funds
- Support corporate banking matters and market-facing initiatives
- Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively across teams
- Stay abreast of banking law trends and regulatory developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes
Key requirements
- Circa 2-7 years PQE in banking & finance law
- Strong background in banking & finance law
- Broad knowledge of corporate banking law
- Qualified in Scotland and/or England & Wales
- Open to candidates from private practice or in-house
