Associate, Investigations, Diligence and Compliance (Italian Speaker)

Overview

As an Associate in Krolls Investigations, Diligence and Compliance practice, you help clients meet regulatory obligations and remediate failures through deep research and global collaboration. You will perform due diligence across jurisdictions, support interviews with in-country sources, and synthesize findings into concise risk profiles. Your work will span regulatory knowledge application, fraud and sanctions screening, and coordinating across global teams to deliver timely, high-quality assessments. This role offers a chance to shape client outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with modern tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence research using public records, commercial and proprietary databases, and diverse sources across jurisdictions
• Collaborate with investigators to interview in-country sources about background and status of investigations
• Apply regulatory knowledge (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, GDPR) to daily work
• Coordinate with global teams to identify fraud, sanction risks, and regulatory violations
• Analyze and synthesize research findings into narrative reports outlining background, reputation, and risk
• Manage multiple projects from start to finish in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Key requirements

• 1–2 years of professional experience (including internships)
• Bachelor or Master degree (degree level inferred as minimum: Bachelor)
• Language proficiency: English and Italian (full professional proficiency)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to summarize information concisely
• Interest in markets, financial regulations, and current affairs
• Basic knowledge of litigation, regulatory, sanctions, and corporate terminology
