Project Surveyor (Main Contractor) | Permanent | Reading, Berkshire

Overview

In this role you will support on-site commercial activities for a growing main contractor on a £10m+ industrial and commercial project in Reading. You will work with a full commercial team on site to help drive costs, reporting and contract administration. The position sits within a dynamic, private company with a track record of repeat business and growth. This is a time-limited, 30-week assignment offering a clear path to further opportunities across similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site commercial management with the on-site commercial team
• Assist cost control, reporting and contract administration for the project
• Collaborate with project team to ensure commercial objectives are met
• Maintain records and support procurement processes on site

Key requirements

• Degree qualified or other relative construction qualification preferred
• Extensive experience with a reputable main contractor
• Experience on industrial and commercial projects preferred
• Steel frame experience ideal
• Excellent commercial skills and awareness
• Full UK driving licence
