Corporate Credit Risk Analyst

Overview

In this role you will provide timely, accurate credit analysis for corporate, Trade Finance, and bank/FI transactions within an international bank in London. You will assess diverse clients across sectors and determine country, corporate, and bank/FI credit limits and exposure. You’ll help manage watch lists and impaired credits and perform credit research to support senior management’s risk tasks. This is a hybrid London-based position offering meaningful exposure to European counterparties and cross-functional risk work.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely, accurate credit analyses for corporate, Trade Finance, and bank/FI transactions
• Assess clients across diverse sectors from mid-sized private firms to large listed corporates
• Recommend country, corporate, and bank/FI credit limits and exposure levels
• Assist with management of watch list and impaired credits
• Conduct credit research and support ad hoc risk tasks from senior management

Key requirements

• Good university degree (minimum UK 2:1 or equivalent)
• 3+ years credit analysis experience covering European counterparties and diverse industry sectors
• Strong expertise in corporate and bank/financial institution (FI) credit analysis
