Technical Coordinator – Essex – Residential Developer

Overview

In this role you will lead technical support across multiple sites, guiding viability, planning and post-acquisition technical work to meet regional targets. You’ll coordinate consultants, ensure compliance with building regulations and NHBC Standards, and deliver cost-effective, timely technical information for pricing and pre-start decisions. This role sits at the intersection of development, planning and execution, offering impact across site delivery and budgeting. You will work closely with the project team to protect the company’s interests and enable successful site starts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical information and support across selected sites to meet regional objectives
• Organise site viability studies and resolve planning-related technical issues
• Commission surveys/reports for pre-start/concept meetings
• Instruct, supervise and monitor consultants on post-acquisition work ensuring compliance with building regulations and NHBC Standards
• Ensure solutions are cost-effective and practical and issues are issued on time and within budget
• Provide technical details for pricing and protect the company’s interests

Key requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Technical Coordinator
• Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent
• Strong employment history
