Overview
In this role you will oversee the company’s compliance documentation and regulatory affairs to support licenses and accreditations. You will manage accreditation interactions with bodies such as MCS, NAPIT and HIES, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. You’ll serve as the central contact for audits and regulatory correspondence, coordinating responses and maintaining an audit-ready documentation library. You work with cross-functional teams to implement compliant processes and continuous improvement. This is a pivotal role for maintaining regulatory readiness in a fast-growing renewables business.
Responsibilities
- Own relationships with accreditation and certification bodies (MCS, NAPIT, HIES)
- Manage accreditation applications, renewals, variations and ongoing obligations across subsidiaries
- Primary contact for external audits, assessments, regulatory correspondence
- Monitor deadlines, corrective actions, and renewal schedules for full compliance
- Coordinate responses to non-conformities and audit findings with supporting evidence
- Maintain the group-wide compliance documentation library and audit-ready records
- Ensure subsidiaries operate under aligned documentation, processes and governance
- Draft and update SOPs, RAMS templates and compliance policies
- Administer the Continuous Improvement (CI) process and track actions to closure
- Support health & safety administration, reporting requirements and compliance record keeping
- Translate technical field findings into regulator-ready documentation and evidence packs
- Collaborate with Service Quality & Assurance Manager and operations to address findings
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and evidence for regulatory inspections and accreditation reviews
- Identify risks, gaps or weaknesses and implement corrective/preventative measures
- Stay updated with evolving regulations and accreditation standards
Key requirements
- Experience in compliance, quality assurance or regulatory affairs, ideally in construction, electrical or renewable energy
- Strong knowledge of MCS and/or NAPIT accreditation frameworks and audit processes
- Excellent written communication for SOPs, audit responses and policy documents
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadline management across entities
- Able to work across multiple teams and manage relationships with non-direct reports
- Confident engaging with external assessors, auditors and regulatory contacts
