As a Senior Programme Manager, you will lead and deliver complex capital programmes in high-stakes environments, partnering with clients to translate strategic objectives into tangible outcomes. You’ll guide cross-functional teams across the programme lifecycle, manage dependencies, and ensure governance and controls align with business goals. You act as a trusted advisor to clients and senior stakeholders, shaping programmes through robust reporting, risk management, and leadership. This role sits at the heart of Turner & Townsend’s transformation and Net Zero delivery work, offering impact across sectors and a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities
- Operationally lead the execution of small to medium transformation/real estate programmes and support large-scale programmes
- Establish and embed governance and control frameworks for programme rigor
- Engage stakeholders with a robust management plan and clear communications
- Create leadership-facing presentations and status reports for governance
- Monitor financials through robust processes for budgeting and reporting
- Identify risks and integrate safety considerations into delivery
- Oversee programme logs, reporting, data quality, and governance secretariat duties
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative One Business culture and support team development
Key requirements
- Fast-paced, high-performing real estate programme experience
- Proven track record in programme management with demonstrable client outcomes
- Knowledge of MSP, PMI frameworks and governance practices
- Construction environment project delivery experience and understanding of delivery models
- Understanding of procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT)
- Experience with project controls (scheduling, cost, risk) at programme level
- Strong client engagement and data-driven decision-making communication
- Stakeholder engagement and external party management
- Awareness of health and safety requirements (CDM, Building Safety Act)
- Commitment to high-performance team behaviours and talent development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and programme management tools with data/digital awareness
- Education in a technical discipline (desirable) and professional accreditation (desirable)
