Overview

In this role you will lead the design, planning and delivery of Learning & Development across a transport infrastructure business. You will partner with managers to identify learning needs and craft bespoke development solutions, shaping large multi‑department programmes. The role supports embedding cultural growth and capability-building, driving measurable value for the organisation. Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver company-wide L&D initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with managers to identify learning needs
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement to ensure business requirements are met
  • Develop plans to coordinate large-scale development programmes
  • Support embedding skills matrices and the PDP process
  • Advise managers on development planning and learning approaches
  • Collaborate to design bespoke soft-skills training
  • Utilise multi-component learning solutions to reinforce behaviour change

Key requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards)
  • HR service delivery experience in a similar-sized organisation and sector
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
  • Ability to deliver training to all levels, from frontline to senior stakeholders
  • Strong needs analysis and capability to prioritise learning support
