Overview
In this role you support the Energy & Infrastructure team within a leading international law firm, focusing on high-value renewable energy and infrastructure projects. You will work on real estate elements across the project lifecycle, collaborating with planning, construction and regulatory specialists. You’ll handle land assembly, site acquisitions, leases and related agreements for major utility and developer clients. This is a chance to shape UK energy transition work and partner with blue‑chip clients on a range of innovative projects.

Responsibilities
- Site acquisition and land assembly for development projects
- Drafting and negotiating option agreements, leases, wayleaves, and easements
- Due diligence for project finance and M&A transactions
- Collaborating with planning, construction, and regulatory teams to deliver end‑to‑end advice
- Supporting cross‑functional teams on high‑value renewables and infrastructure deals
- Managing client relationships and coordinating with specialist teams across real estate, energy and finance
Key requirements
- Qualified in Scotland, England & Wales, or dual-qualified
- 2–4+ PQE with property experience in energy/infrastructure deals
- Strong real estate law foundation and exposure to complex land/project work
- Passionate about renewable energy and net zero goals
