Pensions Solicitor – Leeds

Overview

In this Leeds-based role you will lead a high-calibre pensions team within a nationally recognised practice. You’ll handle a broad mix of trustee governance, insurance-led transactions and regulatory matters, while supporting major corporate deals with pensions due diligence. The role offers supervision of junior lawyers and active involvement in business development to grow the regional practice. You’ll operate in a collaborative, specialist environment that balances strong client service with career progression and regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Trustee advisory and scheme governance
• Buy-ins, buy-outs, and insurance-led transactions
• Regulatory issues and pension scheme transfers
• Pensions due diligence and strategic advice on corporate transactions
• Opportunities to contribute to pensions litigation
• Supervise junior team members
• Support business development initiatives across the region

Key requirements

• At least 5 years’ PQE in pensions law
• Technically strong with ability to lead on complex matters
• Enjoys mentoring and developing junior lawyers
• Collaborative and commercially minded
