Overview

In this role, you will lead strategic and tactical UX research to uncover user insights that drive product decisions. You’ll partner across Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Customer-facing teams to plan and deliver impactful studies in a fast-moving environment. You’ll navigate ambiguity, manage multiple initiatives, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. This position offers meaningful work shaping customer-centric experiences and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end research projects from problem framing to synthesis and stakeholder alignment
  • Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative studies (usability tests, interviews, surveys, workshops, behavioural analysis)
  • Translate findings into actionable insights that inform product/business decisions
  • Manage multiple research initiatives with prioritisation and momentum
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to identify opportunities
  • Communicate findings to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders
  • Influence product strategy with evidence-based recommendations and champion customer needs
  • Navigate ambiguity by defining approaches, next steps, and clarifying complex problems
  • Support research operations, tooling, and best practices
  • Maintain and contribute to an insights repository for accessibility and reuse
  • Mentor colleagues and grow research maturity across the business
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to strengthen the voice of the customer

Key requirements

  • 4+ years of UX Research experience in digital products or related fields
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods and their appropriate use
  • Ability to independently lead complex research projects end-to-end
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to bring structure to unclear problems
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills tailored to audiences
  • Skilled at synthesising large amounts of information into clear insights and recommendations
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Prioritisation across multiple projects balancing business goals and customer needs
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and able to resolve blockers independently
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Curious and analytical, focused on understanding why customers behave as they do
  • Passionate about user-centered products and embedding customer insight into decisions
  • Thrives in fast-moving environments and can drive research forward when the path is not defined
