Senior Technical Project Manager, Advanced Development

Overview

In this role within the Hardware Technology Project Office, you will drive the development of integrated software and hardware platforms for consumer electronics in robotics and mechatronics. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and external partners to deliver projects on time, within budget, and at scale. You’ll present complex technical decisions to senior stakeholders and align multidisciplinary teams toward shared goals. Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of software and hardware solutions across the full lifecycle with emphasis on reusability and manufacturability
• Collaborate with strategic development partners to bring emerging technologies into products
• Lead projects to meet time, cost, quality, and volume targets
• Ensure progress, timely decisions, planned reviews, managed dependencies, within budget, and clear communication to the team
• Present complex technical decisions clearly to senior stakeholders to enable timely business decisions
• Foster consensus among multifunctional leads, balancing engineering and manufacturing interests, escalating as needed
• Establish and maintain a high-functioning multi-discipline team
• Plan tasks with workstream leads and coordinate cross-workstream activities
• Manage change control and alignment of significant changes with collaborators
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks

Key requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in consumer electronics engineering project management and delivery in robotics/mechatronics, mechanical, electronics, systems, or closely related field
• Ability to proactively engage with all parts of the project organization and external partners
• Deep understanding of processes, tools, and ways of working within technology development projects
• Solid experience in leading a multi-functional team and collaborating with engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams
• Can-do attitude with superb communication and motivational skills
