Overview

As Senior Global Pricing Actuary, you will guide business acceptance decisions for referred pricing cases within Global Pricing, focusing on longevity referrals. You will collaborate with the Global Head of Referrals and cross-functional teams to ensure rigorous, well-communicated pricing judgments. You’ll shape pricing reviews, Best Estimates, and deal structuring for complex transactions, contributing to SCOR’s global longevity strategy. This is a high-impact role at a leading reinsurer, offering visibility across international markets and opportunities to influence pricing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Pricing review and form the official opinion of the Pricing Function on referred deals
  • Coordinate Business Acceptance reviews for complex transactions
  • Review Best Estimates and pricing/modelling for accurate deal structuring
  • Ensure clear communication and timely escalation between pricing teams, Head of Referral, Chief Pricing Actuary, and Head of CPUO
  • Participate in governance for updating Best Estimate assumptions for global Longevity and Protection business
  • Lead or contribute to cross-review pricing workstreams to align with global strategies
  • Animate and engage with the Referral Community to share best practices and updates
  • Participate in Pricing Function Community for knowledge transfer and updates
  • Follow up on new methodology publications and support local teams with implementation
  • Occasionally participate in client meetings, due diligences, and negotiations to support business goals

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in international Insurance/Reinsurance pricing
  • Proven expertise in Longevity pricing/modelling and Best Estimate derivation
  • Management and project leadership experience
  • Experience across multiple markets and products is an advantage
  • Strong cross-team collaboration in international contexts
  • Familiarity with actuarial tools such as R and Python (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills in complex environments
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholders and projects
