Overview
In this role you will provide proactive, professional Legal PA support to the Property group, enabling lawyers to focus on client matters. You will work within a collaborative Business Operations environment to meet evolving firm needs. The role involves coordinating diaries, communications, and document production, with exposure to cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- diary management for lawyers including arranging meetings, travel, and room bookings; ensure Outlook diary is up to date
- monitor and remind lawyers of diary commitments and prepare supporting paperwork for meetings
- answer lawyers’ calls, take messages, and provide non-legal query assistance as possible
- screen and respond to emails, post, and voicemail when lawyers are away
- ensure efficient use of Exigent transcription and Document Production services
- coordinate production of documents (in-house and external), maintain document consistency (formatting, numbering, etc)
- coordinate typing of audio files and drafting of correspondence, letters, emails, and memos
- liaise with travel providers for UK and international arrangements and keep lawyers updated on changes
- develop and maintain relationships with internal/external clients and teams; participate in client service initiatives
- identify areas of responsibility and take ownership of tasks
- attend client events and seminars as required
- maintain sector understanding to support client service
- communicate with lawyers weekly to identify work commitments and prioritize workload
