Derivatives/Structured Finance Associate- Elite US Firm

Overview

In this role, you will support a renowned London derivatives and structured finance practice on sophisticated, high-value transactions. You will collaborate with cross-border teams to structure and negotiate derivative and structured products matters, with emphasis on ISDA documentation, while gaining exposure to broader debt finance work. The role offers responsibility and autonomy in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment. You will contribute to a first-class, market-leading platform that values commercial insight and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to derivatives and structured products matters, including ISDA documentation
• Draft and negotiate documentation with counterparties
• Support broader debt finance activities (loan/ acquisition finance) when applicable
• Operate with a degree of autonomy while aligning with team goals
• Collaborate with cross-jurisdictional practitioners to deliver high-value transactions
• Develop technical and commercial skills within a collaborative environment

Key requirements

• UK- qualified solicitor with 18 months–4 years PQE
• strong experience in derivatives and structured products
• well-developed drafting and negotiation skills in ISDA documentation
• exposure to loan products or acquisition finance is advantageous
