Corporate Tax Solicitor

Overview

As a Corporate Tax Solicitor, you will handle tax planning structures for property development, employee share incentive plans, and joint venture arrangements. You will join the North-based Corporate Tax team serving a high-quality client base within a well-regarded national firm. You will contribute to restructurings, debt reorganisations, and partnership incorporation transactions, shaping sophisticated tax advice. You will actively participate in client training seminars and business development to drive growth. This role offers clear career progression and the chance to work across Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield in a collaborative, ambitious environment.

Responsibilities

• advise on tax planning structures for property development
• advice on employee share incentive plans
• support joint venture and collaboration arrangements
• assist with corporate restructurings and debt reorganisations
• participate in client training seminars and business development
• contribute to partnership incorporation transactions
• collaborate with the wider tax and corporate teams to deliver high-quality advice

Key requirements

• NQ to 6 PQE
• experience at a good competitor firm with corporate and/or tax focus
• strong academic background (as inferred by firm level)
