Brentwood Borough Council is seeking an Assistant Director Finance & Governance and Deputy Section 151 Officer to lead a broad portfolio spanning finance, revenues and benefits, procurement, audit, risk, insurance and corporate fraud.

You will support income generation, value for money and delivery of Council priorities while strengthening governance and organisational assurance, with a mandate to develop Basildon’s long-term financial resilience.
