Location:Portsmouth (Broad Oak) or Frimley, Filton,Dorchester, hybrid – 3 days on site – this role will requireroutine travel to other southern BAE sites within UK andoccasionally internationally.
Salary: Up to £89, 520dependent on experience

What you’ll bedoing:
As a Senior Mission SystemArchitect (C2 & Infrastructure), you will provide technicalleadership in thearchitecture, design, integration and assurance of mission-criticalcommand and controlsystems and hosting infrastructure for future maritime platforms.You will define architectural strategies that enable Hybrid Navycapabilities, ensuring solutions are modular, secure, resilient,interoperable and scalable across multiple domains and coalitionenvironments. Working closely with customers, programmes, suppliersand industry partners, you will influence strategic direction,champion modern digitaltechnologies and open architectures, and deliver robustdisaggregated mission system solutions that support operationaleffectiveness, future growth and export opportunities.
Core duties:
- Lead end-to-end C2 andinfrastructure architecture strategy and governance.
- Define scalable, secure, hosting environments supportingmission-critical operations.
- Champion open architectures,interoperability standards and digital engineeringapproaches.
- Embed cyber resilience, assuranceand compliance throughout architectural designs.
- Influence customers, partners and programmes to alignarchitectural direction.
- Ensurehigh-performance, reliable and future-ready command and control solutions.
Essentialskills:
- A degree inEngineering (or a related subject) – Full membership of anappropriate engineering institution and be a CharteredEngineer.
- Extensive experience in force-level system-of-systemsarchitectural design and maritime defence integration.
- Strongexpertise in C2systems, distributed infrastructure, cyber security and digitalengineering.
