Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 1am – 9am

VTA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a night shift basis on behalf of a well-established company based in Preston (PR2).

Our client specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries. They have a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer-facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, checking and packing pharmaceutical products
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Carrying out manual handling duties
• Handling inbound and outbound consignments
• Completing paperwork and relevant documentation
• Working in line with standard operating procedures
• Packing products ready for delivery and loading vehicles for distribution
• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times

• Computer literate
• Good attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
