Plasterer (Public Sector)
VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Plasterer for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Newtownabbey site.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to fulfil a requirement to:
- Plasterboarding
- Bonding, skimming – Ceilings & Walls
- Screeding & Laytexing
- External Render
- Wet dash & bell casts
- Installing & skimming insulated plaster board
- Carry out Health and Safety checks on all equipment and jobs
- Record keeping, maintaining a site diary and photographic records.
- Assist in the resolution of customer queries and complaints
- Assess what works are required in individual properties and relay this back to Administration
- Provide Technical advice and guidance to all aspects of the business
Requirements
The Ideal Person:
- Relevant trade qualification – NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Valid CSCS/CSR card
- Relevant on-site experience in similar role
- Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to demonstrate good teamwork values
- Full, valid, clean driving license
- Experience working on Maintenance contracts is ideal
Remuneration£27,694 – £32,597 plus Van & Fuel Card.
