Process/Design Engineer Amazon Logistics, EU Design Engineering

Overview

As a Process Engineer in EU AMZL Engineering, you design delivery stations and upgrade legacy sites, integrating new technologies to improve safety, quality and cost. You will collaborate with Operations and support functions across Europe to standardize layouts and drive innovation. You’ll lead end-to-end project delivery from planning to execution, focusing on material flow, automation, and scalable processes. This role offers a chance to shape EU-wide delivery networks and impact customer experience at scale.

Responsibilities

• Drive design of new delivery stations and upgrades for legacy sites, from planning through execution, including automation integration
• Lead technology integration and standardization across EU programs, owning layout integrations and optimizations
• Contribute to network standardization via best-practice sharing with EU counterparts
• Provide process design expertise for material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment needs and real estate implications
• Identify opportunities and lead strategic initiatives to improve processes and station designs with stakeholders

Key requirements

• Bachelor in business, operations, logistics or engineering
• Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
• Project management capability
