Responsibilities
- Work on a broad range of banking and finance matters (real estate, project/infrastructure, corporate, acquisition, fund financing, asset-based lending, derivatives/structured finance)
- Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on complex transactions
- Manage own matters with suitable supervision
- Build and maintain client relationships across financial services, energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors
- Contribute to business development and client initiatives
- Participate in ongoing training, mentoring and career development opportunities
- Engage in cross-border transactions with international clients and law firms
Key requirements
- 3+ years PQE in banking and finance
- Experience acting for lenders and/or borrowers
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities
- Confidence managing transactions and client relationships
- Collaborative, proactive and ambitious approach
- SRA registered solicitor
