Overview
In this role you will contribute to water-sector projects across the UK and Ireland, working as part of Stantec’s civil engineering team. You’ll apply civil design and construction knowledge to deliver FEED through detailed design, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring others. You will help drive delivery within time and budget constraints on AMP8-related initiatives that improve water quality and resilience. Responsibilities
- Develop feasible solutions from needs identification through to outline and detailed design in the water industry
- Deliver designs and design deliverables within required timescales and budgets
- Collaborate with other disciplines and support/lead other civil engineers
- Contribute to design and construction activities with a focus on water-sector projects
- Engage with cross-functional teams on award-winning projects
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status preferred or member of a relevant engineering institution
- Experience in the water industry with design and construction knowledge
- Track record of delivering design deliverables on time and within budget
- Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers
