Senior Cost Management Opportunity – E&NR – Aberdeen

In this role you drive project cost management for major power-sector projects within a global consultancy. You will work with client and contractor teams to monitor, forecast, and report costs, ensuring budget alignment and timely cash flow. You’ll manage contract changes and governance, while pushing value engineering and forecast accuracy. Responsibilities

• Administer contracts in line with project objectives
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting through completion
• Proactively manage cost variance and contract cash flow
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, programme, cost control, and value engineering
• Manage contract change to maintain governance and best practice
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy

Key requirements

• Cost Management experience in Power sector (Distribution/Transmission/Renewables)
• Experience delivering projects for major clients
• Contract management knowledge (NEC3, Option C or NEC4 preferred)
• Ideally degree-qualified or equivalent
• Professional body membership or equivalent (preferred)
