B1 Licensed Engineer – Bristol Roamer

Overview

As a Roaming B1 Licensed Engineer, you will perform line maintenance and defect rectification on Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets, including AOG support. You’ll work on a Bristol-based 2D2N and 4N rotation, covering Birmingham as needed, reporting to the Station Engineer. You will help maintain a safe, compliant working environment and mentor junior staff. This role combines hands-on maintenance with opportunities to progress within a fast-growing European airline.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of 737-800/737-8200 fleets
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, following procedures and regulations
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Key requirements

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
• EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 License (Essential)
• Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement (Essential)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills (Essential)
• Good IT literacy with AMOS experience (Desirable)
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to demonstrate 5 years maintenance experience and HF/Legislation modules (if UK CAA Licences)
