A first-ever General Manager / Head of Operations hire for a small, ambitious agency at a pivotal growth stage. This is a genuine senior leadership role owning day-to-day operations, with a potential path to Managing Director as the business scales.

You might already be a General Manager, Operations Director, Agency Director or Head of Operations. Or you could be a strong senior leader in an agency, production company or media business, ready for the next step up. Podcast experience isn’t essential – what matters is commercial sharpness, sound judgement and a genuine appetite for helping teams perform.

Core remit

  • Day-to-day agency operations, delivery and process
  • Team leadership – recruitment, development, performance
  • Commercial performance – forecasting, resourcing, profitability
  • Client success and senior escalation
  • Strategic input alongside the founders on future growth

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading operations within an agency, media business or similarly fast-paced creative organisation
  • A track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence with budgets, forecasts and reporting
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ambition to grow into a broader leadership role as the company scales

Why join

A rare chance to join a respected agency at a pivotal point in its growth, working directly with the founders and helping shape the business rather than stepping into something already built.

Benefits

  • Private medical and dental insurance
  • Competitive workplace pension
  • Flexible working
  • 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Significant scope for progression as the business grows
