Scrum Master (Techno-Functional)

Job Description:

• We’re looking for a techno-functional Scrum Master – someone who goes beyond standard ceremony facilitation and can genuinely engage with the technical and functional substance of what the team is building. This is explicitly not a role for someone who just “runs standups” – that kind of process-only facilitation is increasingly handled by AI tooling, so the value-add expected here is judgment and hands‑on engagement with delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team delivery processes
• Proactively identify when the team is blocked or at risk — and know when to flag/escalate rather than simply reporting status
• Engage with the functional and technical substance of the work closely enough to understand why something is stuck, even without solving it personally
• Support communication and coordination across the development team and stakeholders
• Operate to the delivery standards expected in a regulated banking environment
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is must have
