Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end delivery across a large, mission-critical public sector service portfolio, coordinating multiple workstreams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. You will act as a central link between Delivery Leads, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment serving millions of users. The role balances change delivery with live service stability, handling regulatory changes and defects safely. You will work with cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive continuous improvement, delivering impact at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive delivery across services to meet business and client expectations
  • Coordinate cross-team delivery with other Delivery Leads
  • Align change with live service operations with Service Delivery Managers
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across client and consultancy teams
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams (regulatory change, service enhancements, defect resolution)
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies in a complex environment
  • Provide clear reporting on delivery progress, milestones and outcomes
  • Support planning and prioritisation to optimise capacity across competing demands
  • Promote collaborative, accountable team culture and continuous delivery improvement

Key requirements

  • Proven delivery management experience in large, complex programmes
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams or workstreams in high-volume environments
  • Strong SDLC understanding and delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall)
  • Experience delivering in large-scale public sector or enterprise environments
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management, including senior leadership engagement
  • Experience delivering in live service environments balancing change with stability
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for technical and non-technical audiences
