Overview

In this role you drive the Buckingham site’s Supply Chain strategy and operations, aligning with Puratos’ global mission. You lead a cross-functional team to deliver reliable service, cost control and continuous improvement. You will own planning, logistics, and KPI analysis, shaping the future of Buckingham’s supply chain. This is a chance to influence operations at a global food ingredients leader and contribute to growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Buckingham Supply Chain strategy and vision
• Lead daily supply chain operations and ensure cross-department alignment
• Standardise and optimise supply chain processes within Buckingham
• Drive continuous improvement in material flows, cost reduction, asset utilisation and service levels
• Manage and develop the Buckingham Supply Chain team and stakeholders
• Implement and lead the monthly S&OP process for Puratos Ltd
• Monitor and interpret supply chain KPIs and take action as needed
• Provide management with cost analyses and propose improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment and quality standards
• Serve as single point of contact for UK supply chain issues and manage SLA negotiations
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Key requirements

• Bachelor or Master in economics, supply chain or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain
