Senior Market Research Associate, Investor Development Team, Barcelona

Overview

In Barcelona, you will support Fitch’s EMEA Investor Development Team by strengthening investor engagement and promoting the firm’s research and analytics. You’ll collect and analyze market information and contribute to Markets Research outputs, while expanding Fitch’s investor network across Europe. The role fuses rigorous analysis with relationship-building and interest in AI-enabled workflows to boost Fitch’s relevance with institutional investors. You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative environment and report to the EMEA Head of Investor Development.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to contribute to Markets Research reports produced by IDT
• Curate and promote content and thought leadership aligned with IDT’s mission
• Identify and build opportunities for IDT in specific EMEA markets by expanding investor contacts
• Support EMEA Investor Development Team on campaigns and strategic initiatives
• Build and manage your own investor contact list and develop relationship management skills

Key requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience in sell-side/buy-side or international fixed income markets
• Understanding of financial terminology and capital market fundamentals (e.g., fixed income indices, Bloomberg data)
• Strong Excel skills and numerical aptitude
• Excellent written communication and strategic messaging ability
• Highly motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills
• A degree or equivalent work experience
