Finance Analyst

Overview

In this Finance Analyst role, you’ll shape financial guidance for Global’s Outdoor business, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive growth, efficiency and value. You’ll build robust models for tenders, opportunities and strategic projects, and provide insight to influence deal strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally to support investment decisions, performance analysis and risk management, contributing to high-profile initiatives and M&A support. This is a high-impact, fast-paced finance role with clear scope to influence decision making.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Deal Evaluation, Modelling & Tender Support: build financial models for tenders and opportunities and provide clear recommendations
• Deal Performance & Reporting: monitor performance vs. expectations, identify variances and actions
• Strategic Projects & M&A Support: support valuation, due diligence and investment cases
• Capex & Estate Investment Analysis: model financial impact of estate investments and changes in assumptions
• Commercial Insight & Stakeholder Support: analyze performance across environments to inform strategy
• Modelling Tools & Process Improvement: enhance modelling tools, templates and processes

Key requirements

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with experience handling complex data
• Proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools; BI or data visualisation experience is a plus
• Proactive, curious and able to challenge assumptions to solve business problems
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communicator who can present complex information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and think holistically about risks and value drivers
• Open-minded about background; suitable for newly qualified finance professionals or those from advisory, consultancy, or corporate finance
• Interest in commercial and strategic work beyond pure controllership
