Overview

As a Sr. Associate Digital Product Manager within Enterprise Technology Services, you join a graduate program to help shape product and platform initiatives that enhance customer and colleague experiences. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate insights into opportunities, define success metrics, and support decisions that create measurable value. The role emphasizes collaboration, data-informed decisions, and responsible AI use to improve journeys. This is a growth-focused, high-impact entry point into product leadership at Amex.

Responsibilities

  • Support product strategy, discovery, and roadmapping with cross-functional partners
  • Frame problems, define opportunities, draft requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution concepts
  • Conduct customer discovery, user research, usability testing, and synthesize insights
  • Assist prioritization using value, feasibility, risk, effort, and data evidence
  • Define outcomes, KPIs, dashboards, launches, and learning plans with analytics teams
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve experiences
  • Collaborate across product, engineering, design, analytics, risk, security, operations, finance, and business teams
  • Explore AI or automation opportunities with responsible AI and human-in-the-loop practices

Key requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in technology, product management, digital products, customer experience, AI-enabled products, data-informed decision-making, or enterprise platform concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation and hypothesis development
  • Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and build stakeholder relationships
  • Experience through coursework, projects, internships, or activities demonstrating leadership, customer focus, and data literacy
