RF Lead Engineer

Overview

In this role you lead RF subsystem design within a defined architecture to deliver deployable hardware. You collaborate with architecture, systems, and broader engineering teams to translate concepts into real products. You drive RF performance from concept through validation, balancing technical and commercial goals. You shape RF architectures and guide cross-functional work while mentoring engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines deep technical depth with people leadership to scale next‑gen wireless systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide RF technical leadership and own RF subsystem performance
• Design, simulate, and validate RF circuits (LNAs, PAs, filters, duplexers)
• Translate architecture requirements into detailed RF designs
• Define and execute RF test and validation plans
• Analyse measurements (S-parameters, NF, EVM, ACPR, phase noise, linearity)
• Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of RF issues
• Mentor and develop RF engineers; promote engineering practices
• Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams; support manufacturing and production test

Key requirements

• Strong hands-on RF design experience across relevant frequency ranges
• Proven track record delivering RF projects at a senior/lead level
• Solid understanding of RF theory and real-world implementation
• Experience with ADS, AWR, CST, HFSS
• Confident using RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.)
