Overview
In this role you will specify, design, implement and verify analog and RF circuit blocks for 5G/6G RF ICs, delivering strong first-silicon performance. You will work within Cambridge’s RF IC design center to tackle challenging sub-systems such as filters, LNAs, PAs and mixers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet demanding targets and contribute to a leading wireless technology mission. A clear track record of delivery and the ability to navigate modern transceiver architectures will help you thrive.

Responsibilities
- Specify, design, implement and verify analog and RF circuit blocks for 5G RF ICs
- Design RF blocks such as filters, LNA, PA, mixers and related sub-systems
- Optimize performance to achieve first silicon success
- Work with layout and layout verification to ensure targets are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle
Key requirements
- BSc in Electronics Engineering or similar
- Proven industrial experience designing RF circuits in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below)
- Strong analytical approach with a proven track record of delivery
- Excellent understanding of modern transceiver architectures
- Good working knowledge of RF IC layout optimization
