Responsibilities
- Design, analysis, testing and verification of RF systems across defence and security applications
- RF circuit modelling and antenna selection/characterisation
- RF test and measurement using spectrum analysers, VNAs, and vector signal analysers
- SDR development and deployable RF technology development
- Vulnerability analysis and support for field trials or specialist tool development for RF system analysis
- Hands-on lab work, simulation, and system development as required by background
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical insight for programme deliveries
Key requirements
- Experience in RF communications, RF circuit design or modelling, and antenna selection or characterisation
- RF test and measurement proficiency with spectrum analysers, VNAs or vector signal analysers
- Experience with SDRs, GNU Radio, OpenCPI, Python, C/C++, VHDL, Linux or DSP
- Strong hands-on RF systems experience across RF, SDRs, antennas, testing or vulnerability analysis
- DV clearance
- Salary range £72,500 to £90,000 plus benefits and bonus
