Overview

In this role you will manage end-to-end sales compensation operations, ensuring accurate and timely commissions and incentive payouts while protecting financial controls. You will partner with Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance to model outcomes, analyze compensation data, and provide actionable insights. You will leverage SFDC, Xactly Incent, and advanced Excel/Power BI to drive scalable, transparent compensation processes. Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end execution of sales compensation programs, ensuring accurate and timely calculation of commissions, bonuses, and incentives
  • Administer and track complex quota and crediting processes with correct mapping to sales reps
  • Leverage SFDC and compensation tools (e.g., Xactly Incent) to maintain clean data and resolve inquiries
  • Build and optimize data models, incentive calculators, and financial reports using Excel and Power BI
  • Forecast compensation expenses, accruals, and payouts with variance analysis
  • Review calculations and payout processes for accuracy, plan compliance, and financial controls
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities from sales results and payout patterns
  • Drive process improvements and standardization to enhance scalability and transparency
  • Prepare management reporting and presentations on compensation performance and program effectiveness

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, sales compensation, sales operations, or financial analysis
  • Deep understanding of sales compensation principles (quotas, crediting, and commission structures)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, complex formulas, data modeling)
  • Hands-on SFDC experience; experience with incentive compensation management systems like Xactly Incent is a strong plus
  • Strong numerical acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data to business insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
