Overview
In this role you will support the planning, delivery and embedding of change across UKHSA portfolios. You’ll work with project teams to prepare the business for change and ensure adoption, bridging between end users and project teams. You may lead low-complexity change activity and contribute to benefits realisation, readiness and communications. This is a government delivery role within UKHSA’s Project Delivery Profession community, offering opportunities to develop accreditation and work on high-profile change initiatives that protect public health.

Responsibilities
- Lead on business change activities to support benefits delivery
- Assess change impact on stakeholders to enable successful delivery
- Prepare change management elements of the Business Case
- Create and maintain Business Change products (change plans, impact assessments, readiness documents)
- Support Project Manager with change plan preparation and updates
- Assess business readiness prior to implementation
- Identify and track benefits with Project/Benefits Manager
- Develop and maintain the communications plan
- Engage stakeholders and build strong working relationships
- Act as point of contact for business change queries
- Use digital tools and data to track change impacts and adoption
- Promote recognised change approaches and best practices
- Participate in the UKHSA Project Delivery Profession Community
- Pursue Government Project Delivery accreditation if not held
- Carry out other duties as required
- Role may be reviewed to meet organisational needs
Key requirements
- Recent experience supporting business change activities or change implementation in a project, programme or operational environment
- Ability to analyse and summarise change impact on teams, processes and stakeholders using structured approaches or tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Awareness of business case development, benefits management, and change control
- Awareness of planning, scheduling, assurance, risk and issue management and governance
- Ability to use digital tools to support change tracking, assess impacts and monitor adoption
- Strong capability with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
