Reporter – High Yield

Overview

In this Reporter role, you will cover breaking bond-related issues and build a deep network of market sources to contextualize trends. You’ll write in-depth stories on investor sentiment and market dynamics, collaborating with a team of journalists and analysts in London and globally. You’ll contribute to special projects and broaden coverage beyond your beats, shaping market narratives with rigorous reporting and sources. This position offers exposure to a dynamic financial tech environment and cross-border teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Report, write, and file daily copy
• Produce in-depth, substantive articles
• Contribute to conferences, databases, webinars, and podcasts
• Expand coverage beyond assigned beats
• Cultivate and meet sources
• Travel in-region as needed

Key requirements

• At least two years’ experience covering debt markets
• Bond market, private credit and/or leveraged loans reporting experience a plus
• Knowledge and experience reporting on mergers and acquisitions a plus
• Strong writing skills and an investigative mindset
• Time management and communication skills
