Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of cancer instrumentation and related medical devices
- Work within Medical Devices Instrumentation to deliver compliant, high-quality products
- Ensure adherence to ISO 13485 standards across design and development activities
- Utilize lab and workshop facilities to prototype and test devices
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay at the forefront of technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring life-saving technologies to market
- Support regulatory, quality, and documentation activities as part of the product lifecycle
Key requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience in Medical Devices Instrumentation preferred
- Candidates with experience on other Medical Devices considered if developed to ISO 13485 standards
- Location: Cambridge/Cambridgeshire or willingness to relocate
- Awareness of or exposure to life-saving medical device development
- Ability to work in a fast-growing, high-stakes environment
