Overview

As Associate Director in Clean Tech & Environment M&A Advisory, you support senior team members in originating and executing transactions across power, utilities, and new energies. You will deliver financial analysis, modelling, valuation, and market research, while coordinating cross-border deal workstreams. You’ll interact with clients and internal teams to prepare materials and support due diligence. This integrated, global platform offers exposure to complex, cross-border transactions with a sector-led approach.

Responsibilities

  • Support origination and execution of M&A transactions
  • Build and refine financial models (DCF, LBO) to support deal assessment
  • Perform financial, valuation and company analyses across scenarios and structures
  • Prepare client presentations on strategic options, market position, M&A opportunities
  • Conduct company, country and industry research including benchmarking
  • Support due diligence and preparation of marketing/transaction documents
  • Coordinate deal workstreams with internal teams, clients and external advisers
  • Collaborate with Global M&A network to deliver transactions

Key requirements

  • M&A experience in sell-side or buy-side
  • Sector exposure across power, utilities, infrastructure or clean tech (renewables, energy storage, transmission, waste, water, energy efficiency, e-mobility, circular economy)
  • Experience supporting transactions with modelling, valuation, research, due diligence, client materials
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Fluency in English
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Knowledge of additional European language advantageous
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P Capital IQ or Mergermarket is a plus
