Associate Director – Infrastructure Project Management

In this role you will lead multidisciplinary infrastructure initiatives, guiding delivery across public and private sectors. You’ll work from our London base with regional client teams to drive high‑profile projects, mentor future project managers, and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture. Responsibilities

• Manage multiple disciplines, teams, advisors and clients on infrastructure programmes across lifecycle
• Set and uphold high standards of leadership and performance, optimizing resources to meet stakeholder expectations
• Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of the team, with practical CDM application
• Anticipate client challenges and propose effective, sustainable solutions
• Promote inclusive teamwork and a one-business mindset across Turner & Townsend and clients
• Develop and maintain client and industry partnerships; build long-term trusted advisor relationships
• Coach and mentor colleagues, nurturing emerging potential and sharing best practices
• Use strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes

Key requirements

• Significant experience leading infrastructure projects/programmes across multiple sectors
• Proven track record of setting strategy and challenging status quo
• Strong leadership and performance management capabilities
• Practical understanding of CDM and its application across teams
• Ability to anticipate client challenges and provide innovative, sustainable solutions
• Experience with procurement and contract management (NEC/other forms)
• Familiarity with public sector organisations and sustainability considerations
• Professional affiliations and/or project management certifications (APM/PRINCE2/MSP/ChPP) would be beneficial
