Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

As a Senior Finance Analyst at Boeing Defence UK, you will provide critical financial support to the UK team across contracts with public sector customers. You’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams to enable timely decision-making and manage the lifecycle of projects from proposal to closure. You’ll apply Earned Value Management to monitor performance, drive corrective actions, and support strategic financial planning. Responsibilities

• Provide senior financial analysis to support management decision-making
• Full cycle project accounting from proposal to contract closure as applicable
• Produce EAC (Estimate At Complete) with cross-functional partners and present to Senior Leadership
• Apply Earned Value Management techniques to analyze monthly performance and drive mitigation plans
• Prepare variance analyses, performance reports and strategic recommendations
• Manage monthly/quarterly forecasting across designated areas and contracts
• Quantify Risks & Opportunities and support mitigation actions to protect profitability
• Support standardization and compliance with Boeing financial standards and reporting practices
• Develop performance metrics and reporting for programme leadership

Key requirements

• Operations-facing finance experience as a business partner to operations managers and executives
• Self-starter with ability to establish reporting rhythms and processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Track record of delivering business results and customer-focused outlook
• IT proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with financial operations and cross-functional collaboration
