Overview

In this Platform Management role at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management, you help optimize investor performance through daily portfolio decisions and liquidity strategies in private markets. You’ll collaborate with investment teams, capital markets, engineering, and investor relations to drive capital activity and execution. The role spans fund management and deal structuring, offering exposure to advanced liquidity, risk, and regulatory considerations in a global client-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily liquidity management and forecast funding needs to guide capital activity
• Develop liquidity recommendations and coordinate with stakeholders to execute capital actions
• Conduct attribution analysis to understand portfolio returns and improve performance and risk management
• Monitor investment guidelines and concentration limits, evaluate pacing across funds and accounts
• Partner with cross-functional teams on fundraising and fund structure creation
• Track, report, and analyze detailed performance metrics
• Facilitate allocations, deal execution, closing, and harvesting activities
• Coordinate with fund management on capital calls, cash distributions, and regulatory reporting
• Respond to compliance and regulatory inquiries and prepare management presentations
• Support technology initiatives related to Platform Management responsibilities
• Assist in ad hoc data management, reporting, and presentations for senior management
• Create and present analyses to support fund and investment decisions
• Support Deal & Structuring tasks including cash movement, currency management, and pipeline management
• Drive fund and investment rebalancing across new fund launches
• Collaborate with internal and external advisors on legal, tax, and accounting matters

Key requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in a financial services setting
• Strong analytical orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across teams
• Financial acumen to prepare cash flows and performance metrics
• Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a small team and be proactive
