Cyber Security Architect

Overview

In this role you will deliver security architecture across client engagements, shaping secure technology solutions. You will work with a leading technology consultancy to design, assure, and implement security controls across cloud, data, and application domains. You’ll collaborate with clients and senior stakeholders to translate complex security concepts into practical designs and secure architectures. This opportunity emphasizes hands-on security architecture over pure governance, with a focus on embedding secure practices in DevSecOps and cloud environments. You will join a remote-first, UK-wide team and help expand the security architecture capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance across client engagements
• Design and assure secure technology solutions
• Contribute to DevSecOps and secure CI/CD practices
• Address identity, authentication, and authorization security
• Secure network and infrastructure design and testing/assurance
• Engage with clients and senior stakeholders to communicate technical concepts
• Mentor or support less experienced security professionals

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect / Security Architect
• Consultancy experience is essential
• Strong experience designing and assuring secure technology solutions
• Expertise in one or more of Cloud, AI, Data, Microsoft 365 or Application Security
• Good understanding of security frameworks (NCSC, ISO 27001, NIST)
• Strong understanding of secure software, infrastructure or cloud architecture
• Excellent client and senior stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced security professionals
