Specialist: IT Learning & Development

Overview

In this role you design, develop and deliver technology learning solutions to boost adoption and effective use of firm technologies. You will combine instructional design with hands-on training to empower lawyers and business professionals. Working with regional and global teams, you shape learning programs that align with firm standards and regional needs. You’ll drive continuous improvement through feedback and usage insights, delivering measurable user enablement and impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technology Learning & Adoption services aligned with global standards and regional business needs.
• Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and digital training to support technology adoption and user effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain learning materials, courseware, and user-facing documentation.
• Support regional technology initiatives through training, learning content, and user enablement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of learning programs based on feedback, usage, and observed user needs.
• Provide one-on-one training and targeted support to reinforce learning and improve user proficiency.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs to support consistent technology usage.
• Develop courseware and user documentation aligned to business needs.
• Identify common challenges and recommend solutions; reinforce best practices and consistent use of firm systems.
• Collaborate with Technology teams and the business to identify learning needs; maintain strong relationships with users across the region.
• Participate in regional technology projects by developing training materials and delivering training as part of rollout activities.
• Facilitate training registrations and completion administration in the LMS; monitor participation and feedback.

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering and developing technology training in professional services or corporate environments.
• Experience supporting user adoption of enterprise technologies.
• Experience working in regional or global team structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage).
• Experience delivering training via virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom).
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience creating digital learning content (videos, guides, eLearning).
