Overview

As BIM & Information Management Coordinator, you will support the development and ongoing improvement of BIM and information management processes across major infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliant data environments, deliver reporting insights and training, and align documentation with ISO 19650 standards. You will collaborate with project teams, document controllers and suppliers to raise information quality and digital delivery performance. Responsibilities

  • Information Management & CDE Administration: build and improve BIM and Information Management SharePoint sites; keep procedures, templates and training resources up to date; support CDE administration (REBIM); implement and develop IM controls; maintain information structures and permissions.
  • BIM Training & User Support: manage BIM competency surveys, identify gaps, create targeted training, deliver training sessions and user guides; provide ongoing support to project teams and suppliers; convert queries into guidance notes and FAQs.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Performance Monitoring: develop Power BI dashboards; produce monthly compliance and document health reports; analyze KPIs on document quality, metadata, schedules, overdue docs, team performance and IM maturity.
  • Information Management Compliance & Assurance: develop trackers and monitoring tools; conduct information assurance checks; ensure compliance with procedures; verify naming conventions, metadata, revisions, approvals and workflows; manage TIDP/MIDP.
  • BIM Coordination & Model Management: maintain models in OpenTree; manage versions; upload and organize model data; support clash detection and resolution; develop model performance dashboards.
  • Information Management Documentation: maintain EIR, IPR, BEP, procedures, templates, responsibility matrices, TIDPs/MIDPs; review and update IM documentation; ensure alignment with ISO 19650.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify process improvements, capture lessons learned, develop KPIs, support mobilisation and governance improvements.
  • Professional Development: keep BIM and IM knowledge current; training in Revit, Solibri, Navisworks; stay updated on ISO 19650 and best practices.

Key requirements

  • Experience supporting BIM and IM on complex infrastructure or engineering projects
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 IM principles
  • Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs)
  • Knowledge of document control processes and information governance
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards with Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to train and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
