Overview
In this role you will support a high‑performing Private Wealth practice in Exeter, handling a varied caseload across wills, trusts, probate and related tax work. You will work closely with clients and professional advisers to structure estates, create trusts, and manage complex assets, including heritage and art. You will contribute to client relationships and business development while progressing your own expertise in private wealth. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload across private client work including wills, succession planning, estate structuring, trusts administration and probate
- Advise on tax planning and risk management related to estates and trusts
- Counsel on heritage, cultural, art and other unique assets
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and professional advisers
- Take early responsibility for files with appropriate support
- Support business development and networking to grow client base
Key requirements
- 4+ years PQE in Private Wealth or Trusts & Estates team
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, trusts, probate and tax
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-term client relationships
- Confidence managing complex matters independently
- Proactive, ambitious and self-motivated
- Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills
- Natural enthusiasm for client contact, networking and business development
