Responsibilities

• Producing detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
• Developing innovative design solutions that meet customer and business requirements
• Supporting new product development projects
• Conducting design calculations and technical evaluations
• Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality
• Assisting with product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining accurate engineering documentation and BOMs

Key requirements

• Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience in a mechanical design or product development environment
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
