Overview

In this role you will shape platform architecture for our Foods domain, guiding API-led and event-driven systems that modernise legacy integrations. You will lead engineering teams across product areas to improve reliability and enable scalable, cross-team collaboration. You’ll define domain boundaries, architecture patterns and data models to support thousands of users and suppliers. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role with a focus on delivering robust platforms and shared capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape platform architecture across the Foods domain
• Lead and enable multiple engineering teams and provide technical guidance
• Define evolution of architecture, service boundaries, integration patterns and data models
• Solve complex engineering problems spanning distributed systems
• Design solutions across teams and modernise legacy workflows into scalable services
• Champion testing, observability, reliability and strong engineering practices
